After pick up service you can choose a fitting bike and start cycling out of Luang Prabang. We take a side road and come through small villages along the way. You will see Ban Phanom, the cotton and silk hand-weaving village and the grave of Henry Mohout, the French explorer who discovered Angkor Wat. After a 15 km ride we arrive at the Nam Khan Valley, which some people also call 'the hidden valley' of Luang Prabang, a dream set of mountains, rivers and small villages. Lunch break on mountain view terrace or along the way(depending on bike route).

Take a 15 minutes boat ride to the Tad Sae Waterfalls (Tad Sea waterfall is dried out from February till August).. Hang out, swim and enjoy the unique nature scenery that is surrounding you.
The afternoon is an interesting highlight with our water excursion on the Nam Khan with a kayak. The river is easy to paddle and offers a few 1-2 grade rapids, everybody can do it.
The countryside on our paddling trip is dense with forest, plantations and rice paddies. Pass handfuls of isolated Lao Loum and Theung villages, and don't be shy to practice your Lao by shouting out your sabaaidiis at the smiling children.
Few hours paddling back to Luang Prabang.

Biking soft to medium 20-30 km
Kayaking on the Nam Khan River (easy river with small rapids) 3 - 4 hours.
