Start-Finish: Muang Sing Town

Difficulty: Easy biking on flat roads, on some dirt roads and small foot paths 
Trip Overview: Experience the life of minority groups in Muang Sing valley such as the Lolo, Tai Dam, Tai Nuea, Hmong, Akha, Yao, Tai Lue. Participate in the production of weaving, Lao rice whiskey and noodle soup. Enjoy good views of temples and That Xieng Tung Stupa.

Start from our office and select your bicycle, first visit the Lolo village, next continue cycling to Ban Nong Bou (Tai Dam village) to watch the local women weaving and see the traditional architecture. The trip continues directly to Ban Koum (Tai Nuea village) the village of Lao Whiskey, then leave your bicycle at the Stupa Lodge for a 20 minute walk up to the mountain. Visit That Xieng Tueng Stupa, and then cycle directly to visit the Hmong village. Next visit Tai Nuea, the village of noodle soup and enjoy lunch on the biking.

After lunch visit Muang Sing Museum (open only Monday-Friday), followed by cycling on the main road to the Chinese border to visit Tai Lue (Ban Don Chai), Akha (Ban Pha Kha) Yao (Ban Nam Sai Leck, Ban Jong Kha, Ban Nam Mai), Akha (Ban Nam Deat Mai) and the finally visit Xieng Chai Temple (Wat Luang) the oldest temple in Muang Sing.
