National Museum
It was built between 1904 and 1909. The building is laid out in a cruciform shape and accessed from a side entrance. Various royal religious objects are displayed in the large entrance hall. Many gifts from foreign envoys (including a moon rock brought back from space) and religious and cultural artifacts are on display including the Pra Bang, the gold standing 14th century Buddha image from which LuangPrabang derives its name. Outside are the garages and stables. Here, visitors can see the old cars that belonged to the King. In the evening you can see the Phalak Phalam performance dance show from 17:00-19:30
